A Note to Parents: We know from many years experience that Young Life has great things to offer your son or daughter by helping them make more sense out of the world’s chaos. Simply stated, our program is the translation of Christianity and its principles into terms that the young person can grasp and build into his or her daily life. Great Miami
at a Glance
1980 - Young Life begins in our area
Since the 1980s, Young Life has existed in our area. We have grown to include nine high schools, four middle schools, one college, teen moms in the area, and students with special needs.
2 staff and 100+ volunteers
In Great Miami, we have two full time staff and over 100 volunteers that are reaching kids. These leaders give hundreds of hours every week to kids all across the area.
250 kids at summer camp
Last year, Great Miami Young Life took over two hundred kids to summer camp, safely. They had the best week of their lives! Check the camp tab in November to sign up for summer camp 2022!
4000+ kids known by name
Our staff and leaders go to dismissal, arrival, sports games, band concerts, and more, meeting kids and showing them that they have value and a purpose.
